Search Methodology

Researchers followed a specific methodology when identifying and gathering resources:

  • Search Google Scholar for academic resources.

  • Search on Google for additional resources - e.g., grey literature, United Nations (UN) reports, and audio-visuals.

  • In the search, also used synonyms for the word, war, such as conflict, emergencies, complex emergencies, and armed conflict.

  • Add the terms Security Council resolutions, GA resolution, World Assembly resolution, and World Health Organization (WHO) resolutions to identify different resolutions.

  • List the top 20 articles and academic references identified in the search.

This portal provides information on specific health topics from the perspective of war and conflict. Click on a topic of interest for its related resources. Within each topic, resources are listed alphabetically by title and publish date.
